This apartment is on offer in Marina Village and is situated on the ground floor.  It comprises of an open plan lounge with dining area and a kitchen fitted with everything needed for self catering.  There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and from the balcony there are breathtaking views of the sea.

The pool is located in a beautifully decked out roof area. It is a private pool shared between 8 other apartments and is accessible only to residents and their guests. It is rare that all apartments are occupied at the same time.

It is only a 5 min walk to the famous red brick covered fish, fruit and veg markets, well worth a visit, and 5 min to an amazing array of traditional bars and restaurants on the waterfront and in the Old Town. 8/10 min walk will take you to the ferry terminal where the taxi boats leave for the islands of Armona, Farol, and the fishing community at Culatra. 

There are many boat trips and eco tours of the Ria Formosa available from the various jetties alongside the waterfront. Armona is the busier of the Islands and has beaches, a few restaurants and bars and a mini market. Farol is amazing. The sea comes right up to the rocks during high tide creating a natural swimming pool. The water temperature at Farol is on average 24 degrees. Deserta is quieter and is serviced by private water taxis. One if the boats companies (opposite hotel) offers a rib at 10 euro a return trip.

Olhao is surrounded by ilhas sand spit islands, which protect the marshy lagoon. The Reserva Natural da Ria Formosa is an environmental and conservation area for birds and marine life. The two nearest islands to Olhao are Ilha da Culatra and Ilha da Armona which are served all year with regular ferry crossings from Olhao’s jetty, less than 10 mins walk from the apartment. The Islas contain restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

Only 12km from Faro Airport. Approx 20 euro in a taxi. Car hire is not necessary as everything is within easy walking distance. However, if you are golfing or would like to further explore the Algarve or even Spain car hire may be arranged on request.
